Kawanis United for Change partners with local and national social service agencies, employment agencies, and community development programs to provide comprehensive services for its participants. As they matriculate through the program, we provide the scaffolds necessary for their transition into the workforce.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower and uplift veterans, seniors, and at-risk youth by providing comprehensive support services that foster stability, growth, and selfsufficiency. Through housing assistance, career readiness programs, vocational training, and access to care, we strive to create a community where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their fullest potential.
Our Goals
Housing Support
- Secure safe and affordable housing for veterans, seniors, and at-risk youth.
- Provide transitional housing for individuals in need of immediate shelter.
- Offer resources and guidance for long-term housing stability.
Career Readiness
- Develop and implement job training programs tailored to the needs of veterans, seniors, and at-risk youth.
- Partner with local businesses to create internship and employment opportunities.
- Provide resume building, interview preparation, and job search assistance.
Vocational Training
- Offer vocational training programs in high-demand fields.
- Collaborate with educational institutions and industry experts to ensure relevant and up-to-date training.

Connect to Care
- Facilitate access to healthcare services, including mental health support.

Support for Veterans:
